The new game engine, Torque3D, runs better than CryEngine 3.
The game runs well and seldom lags even on big maps.
It is priced perfectly at US$25, and even gets discounted during the usual Steam sales.
Tons of mods that include additional cars (including real ones such as the Koenigsegg CCX) and maps (such as the Burnout Paradise map, albeit WIP), which are free.
While it is still in an alpha, it still shows that the developers care about the game.
Has the best car physics out of any game in modern gaming history, even if compared to a game with great crash physics (such as Grand Theft Auto IV).
